Althought the Zeugma digs at the banks of Euphrates in Nizip/Gaziantep has finished as of Oct 4, the antique city still remains to be an issue with the findings, It is reported that a public toilet has been found recently.
It is quiet large and for it is build in the outskirts of the city, it is stronaly estimated that it was a public toilet. Roman people usually build units for public use at the entrencesor the exits of the cities. This way the visitors could appreciate how civilized Romans were. For this reason all baths were built at the outskirt of the cities. This when evaluated as a symbol was the border between the rural life and civilized city life.
